looks like its using, http://www.atnf.csiro.au/computing/software/casacore/casacore-1.0.0/doc/html/classcasa_1_1ImageSourceFinder.html - I'll have to throw some data at this and compare how the CASA source finding does with SAD in AIPS4300 days ago
