About Me

I'm a professor at UBC-Vancouver, specializing in observations of radio pulsars -- both searching for new ones, and timing known ones for a whole host of physical applications.

Some projects: PALFA (Supervision of former postdocs/students, aiming for new trainees on this project; supervision of AI development and training; some observing and candidate scrutiny), GBNCC (Supervision of current and former postdocs and student, supervision of AI training for this survey, lots of observing) and pulsars with CHIME (on CyberSKA), NANOGrav, relativistic binaries, etc...
